Silverthread is growing and we are looking for a high-energy, experienced Marketing Manager to jump in, develop and manage the day-to-day marketing activities, providing long term strategic marketing support for the Company. This is a newly created role so if building something from scratch excites you, this might be a great fit.


  • Manage all marketing strategies and programs for the Company, with a specific focus on the growth of our inbound sales channels
  • Coordinate marketing campaigns with Company’s sales activities and objectives
  • Deploy successful marketing campaigns and own their implementation from ideation to execution, including the management of the company website, conference involvement, webinars and other campaigns
  • Develop and create all marketing materials, such as use cases and customer success stories
  • Produce valuable and engaging content for our website and blog that attracts and converts our target groups
  • Plan and implement key promotional campaigns
  • Experiment with a variety of organic and paid acquisition channels – content creation, content curation, pay per click campaigns, event management, publicity, social media, lead generation campaigns, copywriting, performance analysis
  • Oversee the company’s brand management and corporate identity
  • Prepare online and print marketing campaigns
  • Maintain effective internal communication to ensure that all relevant company functions are kept informed of marketing objectives
  • Build strategic relationships and partner with key marketing players, agencies and vendors (with support from the VP of Business Development)
  • Oversee the Company’s marketing budget and, where applicable, allocate and invest funds appropriately
  • Measure and report performance of marketing campaigns, gain insight and assess against goals


  • BS degree in marketing or a related field is required
  • 5-7 years of related experience in marketing, with a focus on marketing and communications strategy and planning
  • Strong analytical and project management skills
  • Solid knowledge of website analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, NetInsight, Omniture, WebTrends)
  • Experience in setting up and optimizing online marketing campaigns such as Google Adwords
  • Up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in online marketing and measurement
  • Strong knowledge and use of visualization tools
  • Good taste, a sense of aesthetics and a love for great copy and witty communication
  • Confident and dynamic personality
  • Strong creative outlook
  • Prior marketing expertise for enterprise software companies is a plus
