Lewis (Lou) Wilks is a Board Member at Silverthread, bringing over 30 years of leadership experience in telecommunications, media, and technology. He has held executive positions at major corporations, focusing on business strategy, operations, and investment in emerging technologies.

Lou spent much of his career in senior leadership roles at AT&T, SBC Communications, and Ameritech, where he led large-scale enterprise divisions and service expansions. He served as President of SBC DataComm, SBC Enterprise, SBC Long Distance, AT&T Global Services, and Ameritech Custom Business Services, overseeing business operations, infrastructure growth, and customer-focused solutions.

Following his corporate leadership roles, Lou transitioned into investment management and advisory work. He is currently a Partner at BP Capital Management, where he focuses on investment strategies in the energy sector. In addition to Silverthread, he serves on multiple boards, advising companies on business growth, technology investments, and operational strategy.

At Silverthread, Lou provides strategic oversight, leveraging his experience in corporate leadership and investment management to support the company’s growth and its mission to improve software system efficiency and business performance.
