About the Presenters
Dan Sturtevant co-founded Silverthread in 2013 to commercialize 15 years of Harvard and MIT research on improving business outcomes for complex software projects. Dan has a B.S. in computer engineering from Lehigh University, an M.S. in engineering and management from MIT, and a Ph.D. in engineering systems, also from MIT.
Phil Odence is the General Manager of Black Duck On-Demand. He works closely with Black Duck’s law firm partners and the open source community, and has over 20 years of software industry experience. Phil chairs the Linux Foundation's Software Package Data Exchange (SPDX) working group.
